Sunrise is a very special time of day. Rising with the sun (or slightly before) affords you a few precious moments: The stillness in the early light of predawn with the morning chorus only beginning to build; The quietness from the human world as most are still sleeping and; the joy of taking a few minutes to watch that huge sphere of hot gas rise, oh so slow, over the horizon
And I find that it is in moments like these that the stillness and silence of the world offer me a chance to listen to the whispers of my heart
