The Game Day Tape

Every Monday professional sports teams gather around monitors and review the recording of the game they just played. They ask questions of themselves about their performance against their plan, they identify strengths, hitherto unseen patterns and use the output to inform and prepare for the next match.

You can do the same. Record yourself presenting, pitching or even just practicing. Technology like Gong, Chorus.ai, Zoom or many more allow you to play back your performance and analyze what you said, how you said it and how you looked doing it. They allow you time to reflect on missed moves in the meeting / event so you can be even better next time you need to show up.

How are you using the game day tape to improve yourself?
