Upon Waking?

What’s your morning routine?

  • Alarm wakes you up

  • You reach for your phone to silence it

  • You see all those notifications and boom you're sucked into the vortex of deadlines and limits and notifications and stress…


How can you change that?


I've experimented with a few things recently


As you awaken, keep your eyes closed and “scan” your body (feel your toes, feet, lower legs, knees, thighs, buttocks, back. Fingers hands, wrists, areas, shoulders then onto the neck head and face).


Once you have done that, pause to ask yourself what is your intention for the day? Do you plan to be studious, focused, creative or more?


For a bonus to start the day, try planking for 1 minute on the front and 30 seconds on each side.


A simple routine, but big in impact. Try it for a week, a month and see how you feel
