Old Years' Day

It is Hogmanay today.

The last day of the old year

A day of reflection, cleaning the house and taking out the ashes from the fire

For many where I'm from there is also the expectation of repaying all your debts before “the bells” toll at midnight

A day literally and figuratively to clear out the remains of the old year, make a clean break and welcome in a young, New Year on a fresh note

Whatever your tradition, however you celebrate, thank you for reading and have a great year ahead!
