Coach Andrew

Andrew J Calvert

Andrew is a father of two boys, a husband, and a lifelong learner with a deep interest in how people grow, lead, and navigate change. His curiosity is not just about how things work, but also why they exist and what inspired them in the first place.

That curiosity is the heartbeat of his coaching and leadership style. Andrew doesn't arrive with all the answers. Instead, he listens carefully, asks thoughtful questions, and helps people discover their own way forward.

His journey has been anything but conventional. He once worked for a company that printed money. He ran an organic farm, taught English in foreign classrooms, and trained as a shiatsu practitioner. These experiences gave him a broad and grounded perspective on what it means to work, live, and connect.

Today, he works with leaders and teams who want to grow with purpose and courage. He creates safe, insightful spaces where people can pause, reflect, and move toward meaningful goals.

Working with Andrew in supervision is a unique blend of clarity, humour and professional depth. His style is focused, thoughtful and always kind. His questions invite real reflection and often spark new perspectives.

One moment that always stays with me is his check-in question: “On a scale from 3 to 18, how are you today?”

It sounds playful, but it always leads me to pause, step outside my routine and connect more deeply with what is present. That’s exactly what Andrew’s supervision offers: space to reflect with curiosity and courage.

Our regular sessions give me both inspiration and structure. They allow me to look at my work from a new angle and return with more clarity and energy.

What I value most is how Andrew strengthens my trust in myself — as a coach, as a mentor, as a supervisor, and as a coach educator. Whatever role I am in, his way of holding space reinforces my confidence and clarity in how I show up.
