Quick Question
There is no such thing as a quick question.
(Almost) every question rests on layers of background, context and history that the person being asked cannot reasonably be expected to know. And what begins as a simple enquiry therefore becomes a brief investigation, usually ending when the questioner talks themselves into the answer they suspected / wanted all along.
