Clear: one main idea per slide, keep it simple

Readable: use large fonts and strong contrast (avoid the "eye test slide)

Visual: use images or charts where they help. Yes words and pictures

Relevant: remove anything that doesn’t support your message. Less is more

Consistent: keep layouts, fonts, colours, and spacing aligned

Proofread: check spelling, grammar, and facts

Practice: know what you want to say, rather than reading the slide. Pay attention to the transitions between slides
