Stating the obvious

What is obvious to you might not be to me

Obvious or not, this is a star lily. They look and smell nice (to me)

Obvious is based on experience (gender, race, age, ability), education, culture, life context the list goes on


And this isn't obvious to everyone (maybe not even you)


I would gently suggest that if a thing is obvious to you, you don't assume it is to everyone around you
