The Awe Walk

I read this article from HBR on taking an Awe Walk, as HBR put it, " a 20-minute break to wander, be curious, and observe the beauty around you (even in a familiar place like your yard or neighborhood)."

Taking a bit longer than 20 minutes (40 minutes including travel) I headed to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. While Singapore might not have majestic mountain vistas and wonderful waterfalls of other nations, the National Orchid Garden provided a wonderful counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of the day.

Here are a few I spotted, and in the 20 minutes I walked and gawked, I really felt a shift.
