World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development

Sunday is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development a UN designated day to promote the richness of the world’s cultures, but also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development

The image is of a 50 pence coin I got while on a trip to the UK last year. And it means so many things to me. Agriculture, shipping, industry, philosophy, food, film, literature, war and art all built Britain. So many inputs, so many opportunities to learn and grow from other nations, peoples and cultures

Actually, diversity built everywhere. No one people, nation, religion or political philosophy had (or has) all the answers to the questions that face us all

How will you celebrate this Sunday?
