Reaching capacity

You are good at what you do. You are capable, you can focus, you can get results. You can hold it together. But like the bin bag above, if you push beyond your capacity, if you try to get just a bit more done cracks can begin to show. With each extra thing the cracks get bigger.

So before you say yes to that next task, project or goal, ask yourself

  • How much capacity do I have for this right now?

  • If I commit to this, what do I need to give away? What do I need to reschedule?

  • How will this impact my quality of work in other areas?

Your colleagues and your family will thank you!
